I'd recommend 'The Leopard' a big 'ol grand costume drama

Blu-ray wise? I'd drop Chungking Express and Repulsion in that category. Wings of Desire is a bit of an acquired taste, due to the tone and pacing, but it's a glorious film and a stunning black-and-white disc.

Perfect, I wanted to see Chunking Express. However, Repulsion and Wings of Desire have always both sounded interesting. I think I might also throw Kagemusha into the group and then decide what I want to buy...or might come up with more money for.

I second Chungking Express, and recommend The Third Man as well.

You should check out Days of Heaven. Even if the story doesn't grab you, it's one of the most beautifully shot films of all time. Simply stunning.

This whole list is awesome. I want all of them, but Seven Samurai, House, and Darjeeling first.

They prompted some speculation with a screenshot of Fish Tank a few months ago, but they haven't offered any other hints or a date yet. It's an IFC title, so we should be seeing it released from Criterion sometime in the near future.

Some of these might start slipping to 2011 as we just have November and December left and December is usually pretty light.

There's still a lot of stuff more or less confirmed, whether all of this makes it BD remains to be seen:

Night of the Hunter, Cronos, Y Tu Mama Tambien (I think Criterion said via Facebook that Curon's schedule has been tight, so this is on hold), Antichrist, Following, the Rafelson/New Hollywood set, Fish Tank, Still Walking, Sweet Smell of Success, Senso and Broadcast News.

Between this, BTTF, Alien set and Maniac Oct. is shaping up to be one expensive month. Good thing my birthday is in there, too.

Don't forget Psycho (assuming Universal doesn't destroy it)!

And Grindhouse.

Sheesh! And to think I was complaining about a lack of titles so far this year.

Definitely getting Seven Samurai and Paths of Glory. I liked Darjeeling but can wait for a sale, and The Magician is one of Bergman's weaker films, IMO. I've not heard of House. I've heard of an 80's horror comedy called House, but I doubt this is it.
