No official date yet and no idea if it will be "Season 2" or "The Final Season". It's looking possible for a July release date.

That'd be nice but is probably unlikely. Season 1 only had 9 episodes -- this one had 22.

$52 on Amazon right now. About $2 an episode.

I can't say enough how awesome this show, and this season of this show is. Definite day one for me.

If Fox cancels this show, and then the Terminator Salvation movie does big business, they should feel silly for not using the interest in the franchise to help in cross-promotion....plus, come on, what did they expect from Friday nights in terms of ratings in this day and age anyway? Unless you are JLH and somehow use the power of your magic breasteses on CBS......

Terminator TSCC is a WB show...so Fox would see very little incentive to pick it up again if Salvation does well. In fact I'm pretty sure the only reason it came back for a second season was because WB made Fox a pretty damn good offer to keep it on the air.

I believe the reasoning is, if the movie does well, it will drive up fan interest in the Terminator franchise, and thus will reflect positively in a third season's ratings.

Problem is the movie premieres a few days after Fox announces their new schedule. Its possible they just won't say anything at the time regarding TSCC (Like The CW with Veronica Mars...not that it helped). At this point I can't imagine what Fox will stick on Friday nights.

Right. FOX would have to make a forecast-- or just leave the fate of the show up in the air for the time being.

Which they may do (hopefully). Fox is likely to bring back "My Name is Earl" since NBC is getting closer to canning it so they can run that Friday nights as well.

So any news on this for a 3rd season? I still haven't picked up S2 on Amazon yet. Price is still $52. I'm guessing it will drop soon.

Yeah. Dead and buried. But I'm definitely in for season 2 on BD. Now I gotta pick up season one somewhere.

which is a ashame because it was light years better than what we got in terminator salvation. atleast it went out on a high note (in terms of the quality of the show)
That ending was by far one of the best endings for a sci fi show.
