Has this changed, at all? I did a search on the e-movie cash site with my zip code and it brought up a bunch of theaters, including AMC.

The AMC I used to work at took the credit card ones when I worked there, and I've used Race to Witch Mountain and Fast & Furious credit-card-style tickets there even though they said on them that they weren't good at AMC.

I work near the Cary store and was in there yesterday. Looked all over and didn't see them.

Picked up my trilogy at BB...there was no movie cash sticker on the outside. I didn't crack them open yet to see if there is any. The single releases didn't have a sticker either FWIW.

I watched about an hour of X2 last night. Looks pretty solid. Lady Deathstrike's blue eyes look extra freaky in HD.

Just did a quick check of the stores near my office. The copies I've seen have the movie cash sticker plastered over the front packaging, same as the individual releases.

Re: X-Men Trilogy (9 Disc Set) --------> April, 21st 2009

I was looking forward to picking the trilogy today, but my usual BB only stocked copies of the trilogy without movie cash and singles with movie cash. An employee tried to help, but wouldn't look in the back room for me. So I ended up not buying either option. Now just watch the trilogy with movie cash appear on their shelves right after this sale's over.

Same exact experience for me. I'm waiting for now. The trilogy at Costco is $49.99 and theirs had the movie money sticker. If only they took coupons.

Can anyone who bought the trilogy without a Movie Money sticker on it confirm whether or not it actually does or does not have the offer in it?

Is the code maybe on the backside of the sticker (like the Bond titles)?

No, because its a flat sticker and it states "Details Inside" I believe.

Have you tried flipping it around once the plastic is removed? And for those that got ticket(s) - were they codes you input online? Were there 3?

That's a negative. I just received my copy from wherehouse.com and the e-Movie Cash code is on the flip side of the sticker. On the front of the sticker, it states Details on reverse.

A. I have not bought it yet because of this question
B. I don't ever remove plastic from cardboard boxes/cases.

Only one code that's worth up to $10.00 and expires on September 21(a rather lengthy redemption period). You enter the code at www.foxsummermoviecash.com .

Would that be the extent of it then, or could there be something inside too?

Nothing inside except for the serial number for transferring the digital copy to your Mac or PC.

Poop!

I wonder if I should just spend the extra $5 and get the set w/coupon at Costco then.

Future Shop is selling this for $49.99 (even though the website price still says $59.99). I picked up a copy, then quickly hurried back to my desk to cancel my order (with shipping) at Best Buy. Saved myself an extra $1.99 plus tax for the shipping

My copy also has the big movie cash sticker on the front that takes up at least 1/4 of the real estate on the front of the package.

Re: X-Men Trilogy (9 Disc Set) --------> April, 21st 2009

^I got it there too but after a stupid incident at Best Buy. I walk into Best Buy and all the trilogy boxsets have SPIDERWRAP security devices on them...no problem except they are pulled so tight and the box is so flimsy that ALL THE SETS were crushed and looked busted as shit - all 4 points on the box where the wrap goes over were indented to hell.

I asked if they had any un-spiderwrapped in the back was told "NO, but what's wrong with that"... showed the guy the busted box - he thought nothing of it... asked for a manager who stared at me like I was an idiot "How are we supposed to secure them then?" To which I suggested they either lock it up or case it differently or ANYTHING (most dvd boxsets worth much more aren't put through such security measures). The manager didn't understand the problem... idiots. Who would want to buy or even steal something that Best Buy has ruined before you've even bought it.

I then went to a Future Shop who didn't have the version with moviecash, then on my third stop, finally found ones that did, so I picked up two (me and a friend)... sheesh, what a clusterfuck.
