Last night, I sent a message to Amazon's Customer Service regarding the Papa Johns coupon as a "Claim code". I have to wait until 21st to take another $10 discount. So $38.49 is hella cheap! :)

My order auto-updated to the $48.49 price. Does Amazon take the Papa Johns code?

I highly doubt it since the claim code has to be a certain length since it's linked to gift certificates. To even have it work, you'd need to find a csr to manually do the edit based off a coupon they can't see.

It would be a fluke at best if it did work since that would mean everyone would be able to use retail coupons for any store.

Mine did, too, and since I ordered it when it was in my personal Gold Box a few weeks ago, I got an additional $2.42 off the lower price. Nice.

I just show the scanned coupon and they agreed to accept the Manufacturer's coupon and issue refund by release date. It won't hurt to try.

Would you mind uploading the scan?

*Sigh*

Wondering if I should get this or not. I can basically grab this up for 25 dollars + tax.

-10 from pizza coupon.
-15 reward zone certs.

Decisions, decisions......!!!

Not to be nit-picky, but is it possible to get a better quality scan? I'd like to try it in the store and the fine print is hard to read and they may not accept it. :)

And there was much rejoicing across the land!

Doesn't look like Target will be carrying it (well, at least it is not being advertised next week)....so I guess it is Best Buy for me....54.99 - 10 = 44.99 + tax out the door....

I got denied since it was a manufacturer's coupon.

Are they normal cases? Or thin ones? I really want to buy this set and sell the third film on eBay.

Normal - Firefly style.

Thanks! I guess I better go to Papa John's to get one of those coupons. I'll get it at Best Buy I guess.

lol is that also a box within a box ... not very eco-friendly :p

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...n/Xtrilogy.jpg

by the way I also asked about movie cash and he said "the sticker that was on the outer wrapping of the entire box is the only reference to any "Movie Cash""

Snowmaker 04-14-09 02:48 PM

Re: X-Men Trilogy (9 Disc Set) --------> April, 21st 2009

I like how they had to number each movie at the lower-right corner of the covers so people don't get confused. If they had just named the movies sequentially to begin with, there would be no problem. :lol:

So are those normal thickness cases, or ultra-thins like the Matrix set?

Re: X-Men Trilogy (9 Disc Set) --------> April, 21st 2009

They are standard Elite BD cases, with a flimsy, very breakable double sided tray on the inside.

So that's what's in the lower right corner of the covers. For some reason, I could never make it out. That's pretty silly for them to add that. Can the average person really not figure out the order of the films? So in the Alien Quadrilogy BD release we're going to get A1, A2, A3, and A4??
