I submitted an inquiry on their website in the Contact Us section. I got an email yesterday asking for the UPC off the box (even though there was a line for it in the form I submitted). We'll see where it goes from there.

Okay, just read thru this whole thread and found the answer to one of my two questions (the matter of whether or not all deleted scenes from the X3 "error" discs were in fact included herein).

My other question is... any idea how to replace a cracked 3-disc Blu-ray case? I see how people are commenting on how fragile they are, and I can vouch for that fact, since one of mine came damaged (in a surprisingly flawless outer cardboard box). I called Fox and explained the situation, and they agreed to replace it, but rather than sending the Blu-ray case I'd specifically requested, they instead sent me the outer cardboard box. DUH! I plan on calling back, but I'm not hopeful, given this first attempt.

So... does anybody have any idea where I might be able to obtain said replacement?

Fox customer service sucks. When I had a question about messed up packaging I got a one line e-mail: Unfortunately we don't replace packaging.

I don't want to derail this thread and turn it into a Fox customer service thread, but does anyone have the contact info (particularly, e-mail) for Fox Home Video Canada? I tried contacting Fox's main customer service e-mail (for another issue) but never got a response, and I think it might have been because it was US only.

Got my e-money sticker today. They sent it UPS in a document size pouch.

It would make a good gift if you have qualms about using it to see any other movie.

Yeah, I was thinking about using it next weekend, and then just walking into Terminator. :D

And how!

I ended up calling them back, speaking to the same rep and explaining the mix-up. To his credit, he acknowledged his blunder and said he would send me the actual Blu-ray case. That just arrived in the mail last week... but it's not quite the same case that came with the set. It DOES hold 3 discs, but it's of a different configuration than the cases that shipped with the set, and is a good 50% thicker than said cases. As such, it doesn't actually fit in the outer box like the others.

I'm tempted to try calling back one last time, but I fear by now this rep's patience will have worn thin. Even though it's not my fault that the case arrived cracked, that he first sent me the wrong thing and then sent something that does not fit in the box, I get the impression that I may be out of luck.

*sigh*

Again, anybody know where I could buy such a 3-disc Blu-ray replacement case?

Not sure how it works in the US, but for some reason the Movie Cash in Canada allowed me to legitimately use it toward any movie at all. I ended up using it on 'Drag Me To Hell'. Not bad at all!

So they sent you the Pinocchio-type case?

Gosh, I'm not sure! I'm new to Blu so I'm just now learning about the various shapes and designs. Never seen the Pinocchio-type Blu-ray case, but the one they sent is a thicker version of the rounded-corner variety (as opposed to the more capsule-shaped Blu-ray cases that some titles carry), if that helps any.

Think I'll try calling that guy at Fox one last time and see if he's not sick of me yet...
