I will wait and see what the packaging is like before I decide to go for the discounted "trilogy" release, or if I will have to buy them separately....as with the Bonds and the Apes movies, I'd rather get them each in an individual case than some terrible boxes with crappy hubs and what not....hopefully, they will be like the X-Files box set, just a nice cardboard sleeve with the regular individual cases inside!

I'm thinking that in this case opposed to the Omen case, since they're selling all of the titles in the set individually, we'll get a slipcover over the standard Blu cases. Since The Omen's contents were sold either as just the first movie, remake or the box set, they probably were more inclined to go with special packaging for the box set.

3 different discs for 3 digital copies? What a fucking joke. How about knock $5 off the price and throw the copies in the trash for me.

I'm hoping that these are 3 different discs because the packaging for each movie is exactly the same as if you bought them individually. Like with Sony's Resident Evil collection. Otherwise it's just a huge clusterfuck.

Was just thinking this bodes well for the Alien films if Fox decides to do them this way, I'd be a happy camper.

Ah that makes a lot of sense. Definitely feeling more confident now that it will be in seperate cases.

MovieCash sucks because AMC Theaters won't take it and that's the biggest chain theater by my house.

So it looks like everything from the previous releases got carried over and then some! SWEET!

Now the question is, how many deleted scenes are going to be with X3...I recall when the DVD came out there were some discs that had more deleted scenes then others.

Also, everyone hang on to your Walmart bonus disc, since that didn't make it over.

Wonder if it's worth getting now, or waiting until Christmas to get the full set with the new Wolverine movie...

Depending on reviews I might end up picking up the set. I don't rewatch these films that often, but I do think they are a lot of fun when I do. I'm sure they'll look awesome on BD.

I don't think I understand your point. What is the Blu-ray storage debate?

I really love X-men and X2, so I will be picking those up individually, unless I can get the box for cheaper. I'm not loving the cover art, but it's not terrible either and I already have great cover art for both with the DVD steelbooks.

I moved my steelbooks for 1.5 and 2 into my "sell" pile and will pick up this box set in blu.

I agree.

FOX needs to release a 2 disc SD X3 in the U.S. I'd like to see it in steelbook as well. Maybe just some sort of BB exclusive like the other two. I'm sick of having just X1.5 and X2 in steelbook.

The Futureshop ones I see on EBay from time to time all have ridiculous asking prices.

As for this release, screw it. I'm not going back and buying everything numerous times. At some point, well, one has to stop and take some perspective.

Besides, I wouldn't expect great transfers from FOX. I've heard Predator is God awful.

Uhh, why are you going by one of their earliest blu-ray releases. Fox transfers as of late have been getting high marks all around. I highly doubt they would screw up the X-Men movies since this is one of their catalog moneymakers.

Unless these are old transfers they finally just decided to release. Fox has been pimping X-Men 1 and 2 since the format arrived. I really hope I'm wrong of course.

I've heard that too.

Too bad it's simply not true. Although if you like grain, I'd stay away. You could shower in all that grain.

I seem to remember it being 24 deleted scenes on the Ultra rare version, and the BD lists 24 deleted scenes.

anyone with prior movie cash box set experience (Bond)?
would the box have 3 vouchers for movie cash (1 per release) or just 1 voucher for the whole package?
for the love of all that is good, please let this (below) be the Trilogy box artwork

I hope that Trilogy art posted with the other 3 movies is the case for the digital copies only

EDIT: oh well the person who posted the "good" image claims it is not the box art and the one the Bits posted is... figures
