How's the quality of the Army of Darkness DVD that's on the HD-DVD/DVD Combo?

Since all HD-DVDs are super cheap, I'm curious if there any of those HD-DVD/DVD Combos worth picking up just for the DVD...

Does anyone know what the video/audio quality is like on the Army of Darkness DVD that is part of the HD-DVD/DVD combo? Is it the same quality version as a previous Army of Darkness DVD?

And what about the Dazed and Confused HD/DVD combo. Is it the DVD like the Flashback Edition or the Criterion Edition?

Its Anamorphic.

Its the best looking way to see that cut of AOD right now on DVD.

In my opinion, yes. If you click on the screenshots in the review linked to up there, you'll get a sense of how it's changed.

Great success, I bought the Army of Darkness HD/DVD combo for 5 bucks today, and the video quality difference is huge! Woo hoo!! The day scenes are so much crisper and brighter than on my previous dvd.

It really is like night and day.

Additionally, as I just noted in another thread around here with this same question, apparently the SD-DVD of AoD from Universal is OOP. So if you want the TC, now's the time to bite, especially if you can find an HD-DVD Combo Disc lying around for five dollars.
