I currently have a 4 year old Sony rear projection lcd and and looking to upgrade. I have always used Sony in the past as well.

Planning to get between 42" to 50"
I will mainly use the new tv for blu-ray and xbox 360.
Budget is $2000.

I am currently leaning towards this model as I hear it is one of the best for the money.

I can't really help too much as I have limited exposure to a lot of the newer sets out there. That said, my parents have a Samsung LN52A650, the thing is gorgeous.

I've got a Sony KDL-52W4100 and it's badass. LCD screen, 120Hz, 1080/24p, etc. You can get one for around $2000 depending on when/where you shop.

I do not have that exact model, but I do have a Panasonic plasma and love it.

No need for recommendations. You have chosen wisely already.

Any feedback on this Panasonic model or the Pioneer Kuro?
Those are two I am mainly looking at.
