I picked it up for a mispriced $12.95 at Rsaputin and I think the AV quality is pretty good. Way better than the anniversary DVD i got last year. There is some grain in darker scenes but to be expected for an older film. Overall it is much sharper and more detailed than i have ever seen it.

Thanks for the impressions Rammsteinfan!

What Rasputin are we talking about here? Where there more mispriced new copies?

San Lorenzo. They only had 1 copy on day 1 of release but i havent really been back since then when it came out. I have found some mispriced things there in the past. Got Flight of the Phoenix BD brand new for $7.99 and Close Encounters BD sealed for $19.99. Go figure. Other things are so over priced and some are the same as other stores. Sometimes I think they put the DVD prices on the BD discs.

I might have to try and make it out to Rasputin more on release day. I usually go through their New/Used Cult/Horror when I visit one.

Damn you guys!!

The one thing that is nice lately at some Rasputins are they mix the new and used dvd's and BD's on the same shelf to save space. I think this is leading to mis-marking which is just fine by me

Re: Hellraiser this April...

question why does the Puzzle box denote the bluray release of Hellraiser as being not rated whereas the stand alone bluray release states it as being R-rated?
