Blu-ray Owners: How Many Players Do You Own?

With all of the talk about Blu-ray player sales this holiday shopping season, I am interested in gaining some insight into how much of the recent sales volume is from current owners upgrading, or adding a second, third, etc. unit.

Please include Stand Alone Players (SAPs), and PS3 consoles.

Thank You.

One Blu-Ray Player - The PS3 (20gb)

I'll pick up another player when the next round of players hit.

Just a PS3 for now. I was going to pull the trigger on the Amazon $100 off deal, but I waited too long and they jacked up the price on the BD35. FWIW, I do own many HD DVD players.

3 ps3s bedroom game room and downstairs living room. Almost used exclusively for movies though. Also got tired of not being able to bring my movies to girlfriends house so bought one of those cheap $150 players at best buy for there. Sometimes we want to watch a movie in her bedroom though so it's a never ending cycle

Like many above, I have the PS3.
Most likely, I will be getting another PS3.

I use the PS3 strictly as a Blu-ray and DVD player.

4 LG 200's
1 Sony S550
1 Panasonic 30 (got it for $40 or $50 on Craigslist a few weeks ago because it was "broken". Firmware update fixed those problems)

Would have have 7 put I dumped the PS3 a little while ago. With the LGs I also own...14 or 15 HD DVD players as well. Keep in mind I own 2 TVs...

I just have a PS3 right now, almost exclusively for Blu-ray. I'm picking up a Panasonic BD35 over the holidays though.

I think that there's a 12 step program that you can try.

I've tried telling him, but the addiction is too strong at this point...

I'm only keeping 2 LGs and the Sony 550. The other 2 LGs are going to family members and the Panasonic will sit in its box for all of time.

As for the HD DVD players...I've been buying a ton of them in lots from Craigslist because of the incredible deals (A30 + 40 HD DVDs for $100?!?) so I just wound up collecting them. As it stands, only the XA1 is hooked up - the others remain in their boxes or storage.

I have tried out 7 BD players since the format has existed, but have settled on the Sony BDP-S550, which is my primary player. It is an outstanding unit, as is any Panasonic model.
