"Day the Earth Stood Still" Blu? Anyone?
Did anyone pick this up and have a look at it yet? I'd be interested in hearing opinions. It's one of my favorites and I'm wondering if it's worth an upgrade from standard to Blu.

I've heard very, very good things about this from people at AVS.

I ordered it from CH the other day and should have it soon.

Bottom line:
A no-brainer in my mind. I absolutely love seeing older films come to Blu-ray and I hope it's just the beginning. DVDBeaver intends to support these endeavors and I am thrilled to see a classic looking and sounding as good as this in my home theater. I swoon. Recommended!

I watched it earlier this week and thought it looked great. The 'play the theremin' game thingy was a bust, but other than that, a really great looking disc. You could see a lot of detail and the disc really showed off the black and white photography IMO... I haven't seen the SD version but I was satisfied with my purchase...Awesome movie too.

It comes with digital movie cash (ie. code to redeem online)... I don't have it in front of me, so I can't speak to expiration date, but you usually have a month after release...
