Well, I broke down and decided to order this last night. I figure if I buy this again, hopefully it will be in a full series set. Wish it had some extra features, though.

So for those of you who have this BD, is it worth importing? (For image quality)

I already have the original snapper release and the Infinifilm release.

Yep, I love mine as well as Freddy Vs. Jason. If you value extras over the movie, then you won't want them as they're barebones though.

I love the image quality on this one.
It is so cinema-look like. And really makes a difference, when we see the comparision of night scenes, like in the review.

I am a bit dissapointed with no extras on this disc, and the image looks a bit soft, a bit like if it was just projected on a screen.
I wonder how it would look like on a plasma TV...

Oh, and there are more of these canadian Blu-Ray releases...
Unfortunately, can't be buying them now, but I'll try to find a way by the end of the year.

This seems like such a wasted release... at the very least New Line (Warner Brothers now?) should have been able to port over at least some of the special features from the 2006 special edition.

They're distributed by Alliance in Canada. Apparently they don't have the rights to any extras for their releases.

Bingo. The American version is coming this year...not sure about extras though. Likely be the same PQ/AQ.
