Inetvideo.com HD-DVD sale

Hey just thought I'd mention that Inetvideo.com just got a bunch more HD-DVD's in and some are at good prices. Hold yourself back but they also have New copys of The Jack Ryan Collection (Special Collectors Edition).
Also if you are a member of the bomb shelter group on yahoo, you get free shipping for orders placed in the next 24hrs.
Just thought I'd share this with everyone.

this site won't let me post a link. I've tried but for some reason it takes out the group name. Go here http://tech.dir.groups.yahoo.com/dir...ers___Internet and
try searching for the bomb shelter. The 3 words needs to be all together in your search.

Wow looks like I got rid of my Jack Ryan HD DVD set just in time....for $200.

EDIT: Maybe not - Inet is selling it for $175 - I guess they want to take advantage of the rarity as well.

The bomb shelter coupon is only good for orders of $50 or more, btw. I simply can't find enough to justify it.

The first page of the site says that the HD DVDs on sale are previously owned.

Yeah, USED HD DVDs are being combined with NEW HD DVDs, to appear like there are hundreds more new titles. Not the case. They are just getting used HD DVD titles now. Not much of a price difference, either.

EDIT: They did add a few new titles. Eh. My HD DVD thing is about quenched.

I sold mine on here a couple of weeks ago to Gizmo for a grand total of $30.

D'oh - sorry man.

I didn't think I would get anything decent for them given the Blu-Ray's were out by the time I sold them, but then I checked the Ebay completed prices and they were all between $180 and $220ish. Had a buy it now completed within hours.

It made me wonder too: the person buying my HD DVD set could reasonably be assumed as someone who does not want to own Blu-Ray, as if they did they would have just purchased the newly released BD's. I wonder what they would think if they knew the money they paid me purchased all my 7/29 Blu-Ray's.

Or maybe they just like rarities - who knows.

$199.99 @ inetvideo. You'd have to be smoking crack to buy this set.

I had no idea this set still held its value. Why would anyone get the HD DVD set with those insane prices when the BDs are $20 and with more features? Its a major WTF moment. These will drop like a rock soon.

For people who haven't yet or do not plan to buy a Blu-Ray player I guess it would kind of make sense if you really like the films.

Still, it is crazy.
