Seeking Adult Blu-Ray Reviewers
XCritic is seeking reviewers to cover Adult High-Def/Blu-Ray titles. With more Adult High Def Releases we're finding our Adult High Def Section has been exploding.
If you're interested email me at editor at xcritic.com with a sample review.
Thanks

Cleared out some of the arguing.
As far as I know, part of the deal with the switchover is that Geoff can make these sorts of posts. If you take issue with that, it'd be better discussed in Forum Feedback.

It just seems weird to review porn...I mean, do people really read them and go "Anal and fisting? Seems like a purchase!
I'd be all over or if I wasn't so busy with everything else I'm doing.

Each reviewer caters to a different style so you might find someone with similar tastes or even completely opposite tastes (our goal is to give readers a good idea of what to expect from a title more than simply provide laundry lists for the sex acts). If you happen to read any of the reviews, by all means let the reviewer know what you liked, disliked, or wanted more of in their review; that's how we improve them (just as feedback has greatly elevated the quality of reviews here at DVD Talk, the same can be said fro the reviews at Xcritic, most of which were here first). Thanks!

With porn, there's a lot of things to look for. You normally have no idea what to buy if you want to purchase a DVD, but reading reviews can help you determine if that DVD is within the realm of your taste.

Agreed. There is also a wide variety in the technical merits of a DVD. The picture and sound quality can be quite different. Also, in some films the performs mail in their work while they might be more enthusiastic in another scene. Just like their mainstream counterparts. I think something like 1000 movies are released each month, so a review system really helps to figure out what is worth your time.
Would a submitted review "for review" need to be of a blu-ray? I current only have dvd's and mainstream blu-rays. FYI, I have a PS3 and a 56" LCoS display.
