Not as bad as the X2 art.

I think Iron Man will have both of those features. The features listed looks like what the DVD will get. I'm guessing the BD will have those in HD + the interactive stuff.

Wal-Mart.com has another cover for the Blu-Ray that I like alot better.

I don't know how to post the picture here tho,but thought I'd point it out.

I bet that's the slipcover and the other art is on the case.

Maybe the cover is reversible, like the TWWB cover (also from Paramount). That wal-mart image is definitely a much better cover.

Kinda funny, the one getting the hate is the theatrical poster - which everyone always wants the studio to use. I personally like it better than the 2nd image... actually I like that international one the best.... either way, they probably won't use the theatrical image, it's just placeholder art I think.

But the problem with the theatrical is "big face syndrome". It's funny how most theatrical posters look decent until the studio ruins the dvd cover with the big faces but in this case, it's the complete opposite where the home video cover is much better than the theatrical.

Sweet action. Thank you Paramount.

Interesting that there are no commentaries or PiP though. Has Paramount done Bonus View on any release yet? (Not complaining - the features listed look like more than enough and I love that many of them are in hi-def. Paramount is great about that).

OK, this "Hall of Armor" feature sounds pretty awesome:
One of the most anticipated releases of the year, the IRON MAN Blu-ray presentation offers even more exclusive content for an incredible entertainment experience including a “Hall of Armor” that allows fans to enter the Stark database to zoom in on any of the three Iron Man suits - or Iron Monger. They can then activate the digital 3-D schematics to check out every weapon and the full high-definition renders let users fly around each suit to explore each of the armors in comprehensive detail.

Thank god.....love that artwork.

I love Paramount's idea of having reversible cover art (like with TWBB). I hope that catches on!

This sounds similar to the "Interactive Enterprise Inspection" feature on the Star Trek TOS HD DVD from Paramount. It was a 3D rendering of the ship, and you could zoom in on certain parts to get trivia. It was OK, kind of video game-y.

I'd imagine this will be the same idea.

DVD Empire has a scan of the back cover, which confirms it's a nice slipcover.

That's an unnecessarily great shot of Iron Monger on the back cover... Glad I saw this in the theater already.

HD Digest's review is up. Video: 4.5, Audio: 5

"Paramount provides a English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround mix (48kHz/24-bit) for 'Iron Man,' and it's terrific. Now, this is what home theater is all about, and this Blu-ray is bound to be a new showroom staple at Best Buys across the nation."
