That's likely what happened (look at Bolt on Blu-ray). My copy from Amazon and review copy (directly from Fox) were in the 'normal' BD case. At some point Fox could have just used the thicker-style cases since they probably buy them in lots. Disney has done it before. The artwork is clearly made for the normal case though.

Every time I see this thread I wish Fox would commisson a new series of this show. Difficult to believe something of this quality couldn't even make it to 20 episodes when dreck like Friends ran for season after season. Ah well..

If they ever did, it wouldn't be as good. Once a show becomes self-aware of its cult status, it invariably wanes in quality. Let it live in its original short run....at least we got the feature film as icing.
