Yeah, I understand that. I've just gotten so used to getting deals like that on DVD sets that I'm going to sit and wait on BD or just buy DVD. I think BD TV sales will suffer and eventually they will get the picture and drop the prices. Fox had to do this with stuff like Xfiles on DVD and even Paramount finally gave in and dropped Star Trek on DVD. It will happen and I will wait for it. At least there have been a few really good deals lately on the HD DVD sets to tide me over.

Anyone else purchase this recently and did you get/not get the Episode Guide insert in it?
I'm wondering if FOX stopped including it, or just forgot to put one in mine.

My copy does have it.
It looks exactly like the original DVD's back covers for each of the four cases, only now it's a smaller folded insert with the additional special features added to the bottom of each page.

That's when/where I ordered mine too.
I called and they told me I had to email the request to [email protected] to see if its still available.
So I did.
We shall see.
I called the # years ago when my Arrested Development S2 I ordered from Amazon did not have the orange slipcover, and they sent me one.

It's one of those 3-page folding inserts, which is why the same page ends up being scanned more than once.

I got mine from Deep Discount's sale before the Amazon deal and it did not come with the booklet. I did notice that the case on mine was smaller. The original release came in a 3-disc case that was a bit thicker than a single-disc case. The new release, and perhaps the version without the booklet, comes in a case that is the same thickness as a standard single case. I will try to get a booklet from Fox or a printout will suffice.

Forget the cases, why do you have two of them?
Or is one belonging to someone else and you're just comparing them?
That thicker case looks like the CSI Season 1 case, which was 5 discs.

My friend purchased it new from Amazon a little while back.
The thicker case is the same size as the copy of Blade Runner I have.

It's pretty obvious by the spine that the cover art was designed to be used in the thinner case.
I'd like to get a hold of a 4-disc empty case so I can make some custom art and put Serenity in with the series.
