It says "One rebate per title per household" on the form. Also, for those wondering, you don't have to cut out the UPC, you cut the small proof of purchace tag from both the BD and the DVD. Definitely worth $20 for those.

I noticed the UPC has two proof tags on it, do they need both of them or just one? They have the same stock number on them but with a different letter at the end. With Narnia and The Rookie I just submitted both tags but wasn't sure if I had to or not.

Which still ruins the reversible-side cover art. Just sayin'...

What a great set of movies. These blu-ray discs definitely satisfy... I don't even care if they release the Whole Bloody Affair at all anymore.

Awesome deal. Had a BB gift card from my birthday I needed to burn. Ordered for in-store pickup. These are one of the few movies I can watch over and over.

That second proof of purchase tag is probably for when they offer the upgrade for "The Whole Bloody Affair" boxset!

I just got these (buying the player within the next week) and I will gladly cut the UPC's out, assuming my bro doesn't want my DVD's. Amazon had the best deal I thought, both for $39. Can't be that.

I thought someone said that the Amazon bundle did NOT come with the 10 dollar rebates? Has anyone verified?

mdc3000 09-11-08 12:35 PM

I don't know if it will work, but here in Canada I called Buena Vista customer service and got them to send me the rebate forms (from Con Air and the Rock, not Kill Bill) and there was no issue doing that - so it might be worth it for you guys in the US who bought from Amazon to look into calling them to get the forms...however I don't know if they'll take an online receipt as part of the rebate....

I missed that one. Mine haven't arrived so I cannot confirm this yet. When the do I certainly can. But $39.99 was the base price I paid.

No rebates with my Amazon bundle.

I watched Pt 1 Tuesday & Pt. 2 yesterday, definitely one of the best HD experiences to date for me, outstanding BDs!

That's a good idea. If I get over my laziness, I might try that. :)

The online receipt shouldn't be a problem. I think the reason why there wasn't a rebate form was maybe because they were bundled together.

It'll work. I've contacted Disney in the past and they sent me the rebate forms(their CSR was very nice).

XavierMike 09-11-08 10:04 PM

My amazon pack did not have the rebate either.

PopcornTreeCt 09-11-08 10:15 PM

Got it from Amazon today - no rebate here.

Wow, the PQ is amazing. The first fight scene with Vivica and Uma is super colorful.

They should have the proof of purchase inside the case. I think I remember one company doing it before. The reversible-side cover art is epic and I'm sad to cut it off but $20 is too much for me not to send it in. I talked to my brother about the reversible cover getting torn and he said the studio probably did it on purpose so the collectors won't send it in.

Anybody think of photocopying the proof of purchase and sending it in? They want you to tape it to the form so it's not like they'll know that it's a copy.

Supermallet 09-12-08 05:20 AM

Watched Vol. 1 today. Looks fantastic and sounds even better. Worth every cent of the $40 I paid. Been a while since I'd seen either of them, I forgot how hard they hit.

Exactly.
That's how one (maybe both?) of the Narnia releases were if I remember right.
At the very least they could include an insert with the needed UPC on it.

Raul3 09-12-08 01:00 PM

I received my bundle last Wednesday and I'm hoping to have a double header this weekend. Maybe tonight.

x43x 09-13-08 12:24 AM

Someone on AVS contacted BVHV and they got a reply back that the Amazon bundle was an exclusive and not eligable for the $10 discount.

WiiDSmoker 09-13-08 08:29 AM

You can get the rebate from the Amazon bundle:

Does anyone know which studio is handling the Kill Bill Blu-ray releases in Canada (on October 21st)? Is it still coming from Disney, or is it Alliance Atlantis that is releasing this up here?

mdc3000 09-18-08 11:22 AM

Alliance.

Hence the month-long delay. Worst company in the world!
