You've Got A PS3, What Blu-Rays Do You Have?

Someone in the Meet The Spartans thread said people who have PS3s are unlikely to have movies like Gone Baby Gone, Assassination of Jesse James, and Black Book and more likely to have big blockbuster films with pirates or boy wizards in them. Not sure if his point was that he owns the less mainstream titles and not the pirates or potters, or that he just owns the less mainstream in general, but as someone having a PS3 I thought this was kind of BS. I'm a PS3 owner and a film aficionado. Are you?

Here are the titles I own at this time on Blu-Ray disc:
Bonnie and Clyde
No Country For Old Men
Justice League: New Frontier
Michael Clayton
Gone Baby Gone
Assassination of Jesse James
Life of Brian
3:10 to Yuma
Rescue Dawn
Shoot 'Em Up
Resident Evil 3
The Simpsons
Blade Runner
A Scanner Darkly
TMNT
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Superbad
Corpse Bride (free)
Transporter 2 (free)
Resident Evil 2 (free)
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Twilight Zone
A Clockwork Orange
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Shining
Eyes Wide Shut
Full Metal Jacket
Spider-man 3
Apocalypto
Deja-Vu
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
Fantastic Four 2
Superman
The Departed
Goodfellas
Blazing Saddles
Black Book
300
Black Snake Moan
The Fountain
Casino Royale
The Prestige
Crank

Now I think thats a pretty good mixture of the mainstream and the non and the classics. The only one I'm kind of ashamed to own is Resident Evil 3 (Resident Evil 2 was free so I can't really be ashamed of that) and my reason to buy it was a combination of curiosity and need to complete.

So what do you have, PS3 owner? Are you a bonehead who's Blu-ray collection starts and ends with Michael Bay, or are your a connoisseur of film?

I don't necessarily own all non-mainstream titles (take a look below, you'll know what I mean), but I mean that I want more catalog titles than newer movies, even if I do own a lot of newer films. At the very least, it's eclectic.

Anyway:

28 Weeks Later
3:10 to Yuma
American Psycho
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Bad Santa
Black Book
A Clockwork Orange
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Con Air
Crank
The Departed
The Descent
Die Hard
Die Hard 2
Die Hard with a Vengeance
Edward Scissorhands
Evil Dead II
First Blood
The Fly
Gone Baby Gone
Good Night, and Good Luck.
Hellboy
King of New York
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
The Last Waltz
No Country for Old Men
Pan's Labyrinth
The Prestige
Purple Rain
The Road Warrior
RoboCop
The Rock
Rocky Balboa
Shoot 'Em Up
Stranger Than Fiction
Superbad
Superman

In my mind, the quality releases on BD just started popping up. All I had for the 6 months of last year I had the PS3 was Spidey 1&2 (watched 3 and sold it). Partially thanks to Fox's sucktastic disks (I'd love Memento, but not stripped down version, no thanks) and buying WB titles on HD-DVD.

Now, though, things have been looking up.
wife picked up No Country for Old Men and I got her Run Lola Run. She already had Ratatouie and a couple others.

Just picked up Gattaca and Dogma.

I've got the Lives of Others on my to-watch list for when it hits a reasonable (sub $15) price.

Gone Baby Gone was a good flick, and I might get it at a sub-$10 price some day. For now, I watched and probably won't watch again for a few years, so, no rush.

The BD / HD-DVD selling trends seem to be the same as DVD. Popular movies with shit blowing up do well, along with Disney and some of the better blockbusters. I never saw that HD-DVD was better as far as sales, in that respect...although I think availability of quality titles I really like was (heck, still is) better.

I got mine in January. I only purchase movies that I don't already own since the upconvert is so good (and I have come to realization that owning discs doesn't really mean that I watch them more so I'm Netflix-ing more):

2001
Casino Royal
Mission: Impossible 1-3
Blade Runner
Pan's Labyrinth
The Untouchables
Goodfellas
Enchanted
Dreamgirls
LOST S3
Weeds S1&2

Funny - with the exception of The Patriot, you asked for the same freebies I did. Keep your fingers crossed for POTC. They seem to be out of stock on that title...which means you may be the proud owner of Wild Hogs.

If anyone knows how to easily get a list from DVD Profiler, I'll put mine up. I can export to XML, but that contains a lot of extra information and I can't get just the titles out, and I can't seem to copy and paste from reports either. Maybe if I get bored enough I'll type them out.

Well I own a PS3 but I only got it for gaming and I had my BDP-S1 for over a year before I got it, so I don't count I guess.

Too many BD's to list here, but for example I bought Lives Of Others and Black Book day and date.

I have "Gone Baby Gone" and "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" on DVD. I own a PS3, but I wasn't buying BD discs when those came out. I own a lot of the titles being posted, I just have most of them on DVD.

Here's what I got on Blu-ray thus far:

No Country For Old Men
Die Hard
Die Hard 2 - Die Harder
Die Hard With a Vengeance
Live Free or Die Hard
30 Days of Night
I Am Legend

I also got "Bonnie & Clyde" BD on order from futureshop.ca.

I know my BD collection isn't really the best example, but BD is growing and more and more "quality" titles will be released.
