The Official Blu-ray "Wishlist/Is this movie coming out" thread

With Blu-ray being the HD winner, and all major studios on board (or will be soon), this thread will serve as the Blu-ray "Wishlist" and "Is this movie coming out anytime soon" thread. Rather then having multiple threads as whats the chance of INSERT MOVIE coming out or "what happened to INSERT MOVIE", this thread will serve that purpose.

(These lists come from HighDefDigest)

What movies do you want to see the most in HD?

I thought it would be neat to see what others are patiently (not) waiting for to get a hi-def release.

So, what movies do you want to see the most in HD?

I'm mainly talking about titles that are not yet released on an HD format.

For me it would probably be:

Ben-Hur
Gone with the Wind
Singin' in the Rain
Wizard of OZ

Some of them, mostly in honor of Charleton Heston: Planet Of The Apes, The Ten Commandments, Cleopatra, Khartoum, El Cid. Would love to see these in HD. Many more but these come to mind right away.

I'm eagerly awaiting the "Lawrence of Arabia" BD release date announcement.

I was just wondering if the 1957 original "3:10 To Yuma" is ever going to come to BD? I really enjoyed the Crowe, Bale 2007 "3:10" and I'm interested in seeing the original now. I just want to know if I should wait for a BD release or pick up the special edition DVD.

I want The English Patient badly. And Evita, which I don't think has even been given anamorphic treatment in SD.

Not so much with the old classics I've already bought a couple of times, but I want all major new releases issued BR day-and-date with the SD, not just kids stuff like 'Alvin & the Chipmunks.'

I want an announcement from Criterion that at least all their new releases will be BR. Hopefully before 'Salo' comes out.

Then I want 'Buffy' (at least seasons 3-7) re-released. There's just not enough hi-def 4:3 for my tastes.
