QAM Tuner?
I just found out that the cable company I go through (I live on a college campus, and they use a special college cable service separate from any local cable company) is now offering HD channels if I have a QAM tuner. My TV doesn't have a built-in tuner, so I had to buy a set-top box. For some reason, I haven't been able to get any off-air signals (possibly due to the fact that the apartment building I'm in is nothing but concrete and no clear shot out in the direction I need to go), so being able to get these channels through cable would be great. However, I'm not sure if my box is QAM capable, so I'm thinking I need to buy a new tuner. Any suggestions for a good tuner at a good price (after all, I'm living in campus housing because I can't afford much else).
I'm going to try and find the model number of the tuner I have so I can look up some information. I know it's an Epson, but not much else about it. I know it wasn't the greatest tuner then, but it's all I could afford, and all I needed.
