1080P Resolution for LCD HDTV 30" or lower?

I have been trying to look for an LCD HDTV about 26" with 1080P but I haven't able to find one. I only saw many of them with 720P.

Is there any reason why HDTV does not have 1080P for TV's lower than 30"?

My guess would be that you would not notice the difference in a screen that small...

unless you're planning to sit 1 foot from the screen.

I think the chart says 8 inches for that size.

You dont need 1080p for a screen THAT small... even in the 30-32 sizes there are very very few models out there in 1080p

The only point is for a computer monitor where you're sitting very close.

The only 32" brand i have seen with a 32 1080 is sharp, the only one i've seen is the 62U model, but i've heard they have quite a few models that are 1080, even Sony's 32" XBR4 is 720.
