Pearl Harbor subtitles question

I know this was an early Blu-Ray release. But since a friend of mine got a free BR player with their HD set they bought and has a copy of this. I was curious about the font size of the subtitles for Japanese language scenes since I didn't have a chance to view it at all.

I remember renting the dvd when it first came out. And the major complaint about it, was the extremely tiny impossible to read font size for the Japanese language scenes. I agree that something was terribly wrong with the size of the subtitles. It was like in font size o.ooooooo1. Meanwhile that issue was corrected with the R rated 4 disc release later on. The subtitles were at normal font size and legible.

So since the BR is exactly like the original PG-13 release in terms of extras and all. And some reviews I looked up,assume it's using the same master as that first dvd release. Are the Japanese subtitles at the illegible font size,or are they are a normal readable size?

Eh I wouldn't say they're improved. I've got a big tv and I had to pause, and zoom the bastard. It's a pain in the ass.
