Are there any current "free" offers for new Blu player purchases? I picked up a PS3 from Wal-Mart, but haven't seen any of those "5 free" offers in some time.

For those interested, One Missed Call has been reduced to $14.49 at Amazon.com. I might pick this one up just because I'm an Ed Burns fan, and yes I have seen it, and yes it is cheesy, but so much so that I like it.

My Frys had at least 100 copies of each Warner title. No Paramount titles anywhere. I smell a deal on Friday....
Also many titles were missing the HD DVD logo on the case. Very odd.

Thanks BravesMG!

Well I wasn't going to blind buy Vantage Point, but that price is hard to resist. Hopefully this will sell well and prove to the powers that be that the pricing should be like this all the time. (Dare to dream!)

Men in Black down to $18.95 on Amazon. It should also have the sticker on the outside of the slip cover to get $7.50 towards a ticket for Hancock, assuming somebody for Amazon hasn't stolen the sticker yet.

So Fry's is running a sale on HD DVD's this weekend, but not as good as I had hoped.
They have about 18 titles pictured of WB HD DVD's for 9.99 each. I don't have the ad in front of me, but the titles I remember are Superman Returns, Battle Of The Bulge, Excalibur, Constantine, Galapagos, Clockwork Orange, Blue Planet and some others.
The Complete Matrix Trilogy set is 24.99 down from their regular price of 34.99. Pretty damn good deal for that IMO.

In other sort-of related weirdness, I got a few HD DVD's from DDD's sale, one of which is The Last Starfighter (not holding my breath for this one on Blu). Anywho, it came in a "combo" case. They must be trying to use up whatever cases are already made.
