Best Buy stock levels (inventory)?

Will they ever re-stock HD-DVD and BD? They haven't had Superbad or PotC3 in 4 of the Best Buys I've been to for over a month. Most of the other stuff is picked clean too. Anyone work for BB and know if they ever plan to re-stock those barren shelves??

I don't work for Best Buy.

It could be a regional issue, as the Best Buys near me (Northern New Jersey) have been fairly stocked in all of those titles.

On a side note, if you really want those titles faster (and cheaper), Amazon is probably your best bet...

Both of those titles were part of a recent b1g1 offer. I think that would explain being cleaned out of those.

Can you rename your thread? I thought this might have been about buying stock in Best Buy or how they're doing in the market. Maybe something like 'HD/Blu-Ray stock levels at Best Buy?' would be better.

Hope that's a little better.

I haven't been to the HDM section at BB in a while. But at my local Target, the inventory seems to fluctuate a lot. From barely anything left to a ton of both.

The BB in my area is pretty bare in both HD-DVD and Blu Ray selection right now.

Back when I was a big toy collector, Target would take up to 4 months to fully restock their toy aisles. Same with the video Dept.

So I'm guessing the urgency just isn't there with these retailers once the holiday rush is over. Or it could just be a matter of getting their warehouses restocked from the manufacturers...

yup. Totowa, the 2 Paramus stores and Nanuet are all very well stocked. Except for 3:10 to Yuma. Couldn't find it today at 2 different stores.
