Damn, I'm going to have to import this. I love the film, and the extended version ("Untitled") is a much better cut IMO.

I'm definitely getting this. I know if it comes out here (and since this was a Dreamworks title, it would be released on HD-DVD) it wouldn't have the same cover and may or may not be the extended cut which is far superior.

according to amazon.co.uk this bluray has a run time of 122 minutes.
the director's cut ran >160 minutes.
the theatrical cut ran 123 minutes.
someone isnt posting the right info somewhere.

Thanks for the heads-up, I just pre-ordered it for £11.48 + £3.08 Postage & Packing) = £14.56, $28.49 as of today... not too bad. I'll trust the artwork & say it's the extended edition.

i know it's original alternate poster art, but i really don't like that cover. i strongly prefer the cover of the "bootleg cut" dvd. nevertheless, it's exciting that this is getting a hi-def release!

I think I'll wait until I get confirmation on which version it will be. Anyone know the differences between the UK and Japanese versions in terms of encode and extras? I'm pretty sure both releases will be region free since it is a Sony catalog title.

I didn't notice the runtime difference on Amazon. It really wouldn't matter to me which version this was. I liked some of the additional material in "Untitled", but really disliked other bits of the new stuff. Overall I prefer the theatrical because of that...

Maybe if Cameron asked again Zeppelin would let him put in Stairway. They seem to be letting loose of the catalog these days to anybody willing to give them a dollar.
And how can anybody not like that cover. drool...
