Was going to get all $24.99
Batman begins
Dragonheart
Excalibur
Under Siege
Watereorld
Yes the 5 for 3 offer is good, but after tax its $16.12 per title. My limit is $15 - 20 for a killer movie. For these I'll wait for another Amazon sale or a steal of e-bay..

I wanted to buy something at BB, but I couldn't justify it. Doing the math, it's more like buy four, get one free for me, when you factor my state's tax and BB titles being $5-10 more than what I can get them for online.

Even if I had 10% off, Best Buy would still be a better deal.
5 $25 titles at Best Buy ran be $80.24 with tax.
5 of the same titles at Amazon (at $19.99) ran be $99.95 shipped free, no tax.
Which is a better deal?

I imagine for me, and nearly everyone else, Best Buy is simply a better deal because not everyone has Prime, not everyone wants to wait 5-10 days for 'free shipping', is in a tax free state (for Amazon) or wants to pay with a credit card vs. Cash/Giftcards etc.
But hey, I'm happy with my selection

I am going to have to pass on this...
The five titles I was planning on buying:
v for vendetta
batman begins
pans labyrinth
harry potter : OOTP
eternal sunshine
Amazon: 108.75
Best Buy: 102.36 (after tax)
Only saving 6 bucks, hoping that they will go on sale on amazon later, or buy them singally.

Tried going in store to pick some movies out but my local BB was picked clean from the holidays.
Ordered online instead and got:
Batman Begins
A Christmas Story
Clerks II
Mallrats
Shaun of the Dead
Still a few I'm on the fence about but I might use Amazon since it's only a couple.

I had just bought The Bourne Ultimatum and Harry Potter 5 with a gift card on Saturday, so I went back today and added Superman Returns, Pan's Labyrinth and Blade Runner (the 5 disc version).
I also had to price-match The Orange Box for the 360 from $59 to $39 and also picked up TaxCut, which was available with a free DVD of my choice, so I got Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End for free as well.
It was the world's most complicated Best Buy transaction and took four CSRs to figure out correctly.

Draven.. "It was the world's most complicated Best Buy transaction and took four CSRs to figure out correctly."
only 4 csr's?? you are lucky no manager helped out. They would have just said "You can't do that!" Just to save themselves the trouble.

Some people from other forums are saying Best Buy has killed this deal. Apparently some stores are saying it wasn't supposed to be ANY 5 movies, just from the ones listed. Also, the deal is completely gone from the website. Glad I got my order in yesterday.

I still have 5 titles (w/ 2 free) in my cart as I'm still contimplating doing another order and it looks like it will let me go through with the order. Problem is, I should slow down my spending but damn this is tempting...

They tried doing the same thing to me when the B2G1F deal was going on. One of the chumps in the video dept. said you could only choose from the titles on the list above the section.
I just ended up going to the front and had them check the prices after totaling out the purchase.
