What should I set my A2 audio out to?

If I hook up my A2 to an Onkyo 605 receiver via HDMI cable, should I set the audio to Bitstream or PCM in the A2 menu?

HDMI I have set to auto, and then the LPCM or whatever that other setting is, is set to bitstream. Works beautifully. I'm using an a20 but it's essentially the same setting.
