Bonnie and Clyde SE: HD DVD and Blu-ray --> March 25th, 2008!

Here

No technical specs yet, but it's a given that the new remaster is 1080p. Looks to be a nice package too:

-Revolution! retrospective documentary
-History Channel special
-Deleted scenes (Never before seen!)
-Costume tests

I'd also assume the trailer will be on here as well. $28.98 MSRP, with an SD 2-disc edition also coming.

If it's any indication, this is the first sign of greatness from WB next year. I hope Cool Hand Luke isn't far behind...

A definite purchase. I have to applaude Warner for continuing to support classic releases on high-def despite the generally abysmal sales.

I agree, and I hope they give them the 4K treatment.

This looked excellent (except for the picnic scene, for some reason) on HDNet.

Check out the artwork over at dvdactive:

Looks like special, non-standard packaging (book-style) even for the Blu-ray and HD DVD. nice!

Kind of amusing how they've got an HD DVD cover coupled with a Blu-ray disc in that last picture. I'm going to assume that's not how they'll actually be packaged . . .

Do the HD versions have all of those extra goodies that the SD Ultimate Edition has? The full booklets and stuff like that?

That HD packaging is sweet. Nice to see I won't have to buy the SD just to get the goodies. More studios need to adopt this line of thinking.

Sounds awesome. One of my all-time favorite films and strangely enough, one I've never purchased in any form. I hope Warren Beatty provides some information in the special features. I know he's a terrible interview and has gotten extra-fuddy-duddy in his old age, but this film was his first as producer and he should be able to provide some great insight if he puts his mind to it.

It musta been a bitch strapping that display to the top of the Delorean and getting it back. Or did you go 4K projector?
