Ocean's Twelve Blu-Ray - VHS Quality
OMG. I finished watching Ocean's Eleven which had a great PQ, and popped in Ocean's Twelve. OMG.. What happened? It's worse than the DVD ever was. I'm not even talking about grain or softness. The picture is flashing, there is white noise in a pattern showing up. I only watched the first 12 minutes, and I can't take it anymore.
If anyone has it on Blu-Ray, can you pop it in and see if it happens. There are two scenes so far that it's very visible on.
1) When Benedict comes to Tess's house and tells her that he is looking for Danny and he is not the only one that is looking for Ocean's Eleven. Tess tells him that Danny is smarter and he will never find him.
2) When Benedict is talking with Linus in his car in Chicago.
Who can I write to complain?

I'm watching Ocean's Thirteen now. There is a lot of grain, and although that is the way it was probably filmed, there is still evidence of bad transfer (white noise/flashes). Back to Oceans Twelve, I watched few more minutes and you can really tell that Quality is screwed up, when the waiter brings SAL cut up credit card in pieces.

Is this just on the Blu-Ray transfer, or is the HD-DVD version like this as well?

The DVD didn't look too bad and I'd imagine the HD will be a decent upgrade. The movie tends to look like a 70s flick with a lot of filtering that resembles movies of those times.

Watched the Blu-ray disc over the weekend and I have no idea what all of the fuss is about. Sure, it's grainy as hell, but the colors are vibrant and the close-ups look pretty good. To say it's VHS quality is just absurd.
