I believe the import version has everything from the Criterion set except the commentary.

My distributor is showing that these Blu-rays are coming 12/04/07:
Independence Day Cast Away both with msrps of $39.99 |
Glad those are not getting delayed by Fox. By the way, have you heard anything about I, Robot? I thought that was coming out soon and I can't find any news about it.

anyone hear anything about Fight Club yet?
You'd think they'd bring this over ASAP |
I hope they don't do Fight Club until they get their head out of their asses regarding porting over extras.
|
What is with Fox and not porting over extras? This is one of the reasons I don't support Blu-Ray yet.

The studio has also announced a package containing all three Resident Evil films, including recently theatrically released 'Resident Evil: Extinction,' will be available the same date with a MAP of $58.95. Although no official announcement was made for a standalone version of Extinction, it's a safe bet January 2 will mark its arrival. Check back frequently for more Resident Evil, Resident Evil Trilogy, and Resident Evil: Extinction information as it becomes available. |

Some more Blu-Ray dates:
Gameplan 1/22 - http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...s_January/1114 Mr. Woodcock 1/15 - http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...o_Blu-ray/1111 Also Prison Break S1 Blu-Ray details: Fox won't be pulling any punches with its first-ever TV-on-Blu-ray release, with confirmed specs for 'Prison Break: Season One' including hours of bonus features. As we've previously reported, the studio first announced a next-gen release for 'Prison Break' this past August, promising a well-stocked package that would rival any of its A-list theatrical Blu-ray titles. With full specs now confirmed, the highly-anticpated box set certainly looks like it will live up to fan expectations. Spread across six BD-50 dual-layer discs, all 22 first-season episodes will be presented in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround (at 48kHz/24-bit). Extras are set to include audio commentaries with cast and crew on nine episodes, multiple deleted scenes, two making-of featurettes, a Fox "Anatomy of a Scene" TV special, and a collection of six promo spots. (There are no announced Blu-ray exclusives at this time.) Fox has set a retail price of $99.98. As always, you'll find updated disc details for 'Prison Break: Season One' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it is indexed under November 13. |
I, Robot officially delayed until "sometime in the first half of 2008". But it will have new exclusive features, so I can wait.
