I was poking around Amazon's UK site, and noticed that there are a lot of titles on HD-DVD and Blu-Ray there that haven't even been announced here in the states. Titles like "The Island," "Mulholland Drive," "The Fog" (the 1979 version), "The Rock," are already out on the high-def formats, which makes me wonder why they haven't been released over here yet. Any facts or thoughts?

Those titles are distributed by different studios in foreign countries than they are in the US.
