Just curious to see what some of you all selected. Most of the titles I'm not too impressed with. The only one I'm sure that I will select is Chicken Little.

Chicken Little
The Devil's Rejects
The Omen (2006)
Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Blazing Saddles

Haven't torn the shrinkwrap off Blazing Saddles since I already had it on HD DVD. Resident Evil: Apocalypse and The Omen were both abysmal. On the other hand, Chicken Little is forgettable but likeable enough. A little cloying and slow-moving at times, especially early on, but I'd say it's a good choice. Technically, it's a spectacular disc, and I was especially floored by the PCM audio. I thought House of 1,000 Corpses was borderline-unwatchable, but I enjoyed The Devil's Rejects if you have the stomach for that kind of sadism (and Rob Zombie's occasional clunky sense of humor and self-indulgence).

Invincible
Blazing Saddles
Stir Of Echoes
Last Waltz
Italian Job

I'm still waiting on mine right now.

As far as my choices go, 4 of the 5 are upgrades from standard DVD, with Invincible being the best choice out of 4 movies I was indifferent to.

(Getting Italian Job was a toss-up between that and Devil's Rejects. I figured that Italian Job had more re-watch value since it's mainstream action/comedy.)

Pearl Harbor
Phantom of the Opera
Underworld Evolution
Babel
Hart's War

Underworld and Hart's are both upgrades from SD. Babel I got because I heard it was good so I figured it was worth a shot, especially for free. Pearl Harbor for Kate Beckinsale in Hi-Def. Phantom of the Opera was really just a flip of the coin, but I figured it would be a nice hidef piece with the costumes and sounds and all.

I'll be keeping all 5 titles for my collection, rather than sell any.

I got my PS3 before this deal.

But if I could've picked (and didn't already have the titles), I would've gotten Invincible, Phantom of the Opera, Stir of Echoes (good movie, don't know how it is as a Blu-Ray title but the other choices flat out suck as movies), Black Rain and Species.

Though The Guardian and Pearl Harbor are supposed to show off high-def very very well (like Crank), if that's a selling point.

PEARL HARBOR
BLAZING SADDLES
STEALTH
THE ITALIAN JOB
OMEN 666

Still in process....

I let my wife choose the 2nd tier (Blazing Saddles, Phantom of the Opera, Corpse Bride) as I didn't really care... hadn't seen Phantom or Corpse yet and had just caught a bit of Blazing Saddles on TV... I was surprised she picked it.

She also picked the Italian Job and Omen 666.... - The Italian Job was the only movie of the ones in those 2 tiers that we had seen... and we remembered liking the trailer for the Omen 666... the others either didn't have trailers or they didn't look that great....

I'm sure this has probably been asked before but which barcode is the UPC on the box? I want to send mine in and I have no idea which one it is.

The one I sent in for the PS3 was just below/to the right of the carrying handle -- between the 'System: Made in China/Wireless controller: Made in China' notes. I didn't send in anything from that set that read "Serial # for Registration" or the one above it.

I'm leaning towards:
Chicken Little (upgrade, but I'm an animation fan)
Corpse Bride (another upgrade, I love Blazing Saddles but will probably get that free HD-DVD)
Black Rain (Have Italian Job on DVD, HATED Babel)
Underworld Evolution (coin toss here, all movies look bad except Stir of Echos and my wife hated that)

Tier 5 is tough for me -- I like The Last Waltz, have the DVD. I might like to get Species, but hear it doesn't look very good. Trying to decide if I'd rather upgrade Waltz or pick up a junk movie I kind of liked with questionable transfer

Category No. 1 -- Chicken Little
Category No. 2 -- Phantom of the Opera
Category No. 3 -- Underworld Evolution
Category No. 4 -- The Italian Job
Category No. 5 -- The Transporter 2

The only two (2) I knew I immediately wanted were Phantom of the Opera and The Italian Job. The Transporter 2 and Underworld Evolution were selected because I have not yet seen either and getting them free beats having to rent them. And I selected Chicken Little because I thought it might hold the "highest" resale value of the four (4) choices in the first category.

Same exact 5 I picked!! I hadn't seen Invincible or The Italian Job and heard positive things about both of them. I didn't pick Blazing Saddles through the HD-DVD offer so this was a no-brainer. I picked Stir of Echoes purely on re-selling it. I was deciding between Natasha Henstridge's high definition titties vs. a Marty title I hadn't seen yet. Marty won out.

I think i'm going to select:

Chicken Little
Blazing Saddles
Underworld Evolution
Black Rain
Transporter 2

Not the best titles but at least they come as part of the deal. I just wish this had been around when I bought my first PS3. Now maybe after I pay off this second PS3 I'll think about getting an HD player when one comes out that Toshiba seems satisfied with.
