How much does HD cable/dish/driect tv cost?

What are people paying for HD cable/dish/direct tv?

Who offers the cheapest basic HD package?

Cable is going to vary depending on who the provider is in your area. I don't know where you live or who your provider is, so I can't help you.

Dish and DirecTV both have good Web sites that will show you what packages are available and for what prices. The options are too lengthy to post here. You need to just check them out, and price them based on what packages of channels you're interested in.

Also, different providers have different bundle deals depending on what you get. Where I live, the phone company offers a bundle discount if you get long distance, high-speed Internet and DirecTV all together.

I pay something like $30 for basic, basic cable, which doesn't include stuff like ESPN. But since I have a digital box, I have to get HD channels, so I get ESPN and ESPN2 in HD. I don't get MTV, but I get MHD. Comcast.

* Actually, I pay like $42 now because I added HBO and Cinemax.
