Fox does not own MGM, they only distribute MGM's catalog releases for Sony.
The press release sounds like they are including, at least, some extras on these discs. So there is hope. Also, I don't think Fox has officially announced an MSRP for the catalog titles, so maybe DVD Empire was just jumping the gun on the pricing. Maybe...

I keep looking at those Moulin Rouge shots on the BR Best-Buy promo and am very upset that this was not one of the announced releases. Will pay up to 60$ for the disc when it arrives without a prob.

Same here. Hard to justify seeing a 2 disc loaded version of I, Robot for $15 sitting on the shelf next to a bare bones BD for $40. I don't think so.Rare exceptions will be made but, Netflix will be making money off me instead of the movie studios.
