I already have Kung Fu Hussle, but I may finally pick up Black Hawk Down.
BTW, word of warning. House of Flying Daggers looks pretty terrible. I would suggest reading the two reviews here before buying it if you already have it on DVD. I rented it and it is not worth the upgrade.

If that were true that means all it takes for Blu-Ray to maintain a 2-1 advantage is selling the exact same Sony titles at discount prices every 4-6 weeks. Titles like Underworld: Evolution, HoFD, Into The Blue, stuff like that. Not exactly the best films on the format. If that's all it takes, what does that say about HD DVD's appeal?
I have yet to see any truly popular titles on BD (Casino Royale, Departed, 300, etc.) ever come below $20.
Meanwhile Fry's has had their share of 13.99 sales for WB HD-DVD's as well, including titles like Batman Begins (still HD exclusive), GoodFellas, Full Metal Jacket and more.
Not to mention HD DVD was giving 5 free away by mail (and 3 free) long before Blu-Ray. I'd bet those titles would have seen similar regular discounts at retail if they weren't being given away.
Let's not get crazy and say Kung Fu Hustle is winning the war for Blu-Ray. The 65/35 split on 300 is winning it. The over 2:1 ratio for Disturbia is winning it.
I now return you to our regularly scheduled topic.

I just noticed that Amazon also has KFH and HoFD for $14.99. A buck more, but no tax and free shipping for some.
Also 'Layer Cake,' 'Memento,' and some other Sony titles.

BHD is good enough to bite, already got HoFD and KFH (B1G1 free deal a while back, which is cheaper than the current sale price). Meh for UE, still a bit too high (definitely bite if it's under $15).
thanks op.
