Tai Seng Entertainment has announced that they will bring the Hong Kong martial arts film 'Dragon Tiger Gate' to Blu-ray on May 27th. Specs include a 7.1 Cantonese track, as well as 5.1 Mandarin and English tracks. Extras include an audio commentary, multiple featurettes, deleted scenes, interviews, photo gallery, and premiere highlights. This title was original due to be released exclusively for HD DVD on the same date, but with Blu-ray being declared the victor of the format war, Tai Seng Entertainment has decided a Blu-ray release is more appropriate. |

According to dvdrama.com, Studio Canal will release in Blu-Ray, Sa Majesté Minor from Jean-Jacques Annaud (April 22), My Blueberry Nights from Wong Kar-Wai (June 3) and Shekhar Kapur's Elizabeth: The Golden Age (June 12).
They will do the same for films they produced that are not out in theatre yet. More Blu-ray disks coming from Tartan UK:
Tartan Video has announced the release of their next wave of Blu-ray titles, starting on the 14th of April with A Tale of Two Sisters, and followed on the 28th by Paranoid Park. The big news for Park Chan-wook fans is that both Lady Vengeance and I'm a Cyborg will see the light of day on the 26th of May. Bringing up the rear on the 26th of June will be The Proposition and Sky Blue. All titles will retail for around £24.99. Future Blu-ray releases will include the English-language version of Funny Games (starring Naomi Watts) and P2, along with titles from Tartan's catalogue. |
