Got mine out of the clear blue sky today. No card preceded them. Sent in the form the day after I bought the player at the Wal-Mart sale. Got all the movies I requested.

Exact same situation for me. Purchased the A2 during the Wal-Mart sale, sent in the rebate the next day, never received a postcard, and I got all of the ones I requested in the mail yesterday. When I got the package, I had no idea what it could be. It was a pleasant surprise to say the least. No damage to the cases either, just a white sticker over the barcode on the Universal titles.

Weirdest thing happened to me today...this is not a joke. I called the Toshiba Number to ask where my HD DVDs were (1-800-405-7520) and when the ladie answered the phone this is what i heard "Blue ra....(pause) Toshiba. How may i help you?" I was in shock and am still speculating why this was said...i should have asked the lady but she seemed pretty nice.

Interesting. In Canada they're different so I'm looking forward to sending in an HD rebate and seeing which I get first. Don't know if it's a good time to buy an HD DVD player though, even for $100.

I started to get excited when all of the people that purchased the players during the Wally World A2 sale said they were getting theirs. Low and behold I received mine today.

Only Pitch Black had a UPC gouge.

Just when I had given up, I received my five free ones today... Only issue is that The Hulk is badly scratched. May try to trade it at a store for a clean copy.

Received mine yesterday. Sent them out the day that I bought the player at the Walmart $99 sale. No problems with the cases or anything so that was a relief. I got Pitch Black, Troy DC, The Frighteners, Italian Job, and Full Metal Jacket.

I was told they sent out a postcard saying they are waiting on more stock before they will mail them. I sent mine out beginning of October for the old promotion.

i finally got the 5 hd-dvds yesterday... it took me a while to get them, like three months!

i don't even remember my selections... but i counted five discs, so case closed for me.

I called last night and was told they had shipped that day.
She listed the 5 movies I requested as well.

I just got my 5 HD-DVDs in today.

It took from the 7th of November until today. I expect to get my Blu-Rays by Spring at this point.

Got my 5 free HD-DVDs today after mailing in November. Got the 5 titles I wanted: Babel, The Frighteners, The Thing, Swordfish, Black Rain. There were no slashes thru the UPCs, just 2 white stickers over the UPCs of The Thing and The Frighteners.

Yup, got mine today. They subbed Swordfish & Troy Directors Cut for Syriana & TMNT. UPCs are in perfect shape.
