About bookmark in HD dvd or Blueray

I just saw "superman" dvd. It has a "bookmark" function, which can save the current see point in disk. If you need to resume the move after closed the player, your can use this to continue.

Does all the hd dvd and bluray have this function? I didn't find this on my HDA2.

I'm not sure about a bookmark feature, but on the PS3 I have stopped the movie at a certain spot and go back to the main PS3 menu to go to online, or if I turn off the player then turn it back on, I can go back to the same spot on the movie. if I take the disc out, then put it back in though, it starts all over. I belive the bookmark function is when you can take the discs out, then put them back in and go to the spot you left off. And of course on the current players, you can simplye click the bookmark button to save that spot in the movie. But I never used it on a regular basis, i never saw much use for it. That's just me though, I'm sure you and many others do like that feature.
