I don't know if it's true, but someone at AVS posted that they called Fry's and a rep said that it was an error and they are only accepting the first 1000 orders at that price, the rest will be cancelled. For what it's worth, I've received a confirmation email but no cancelation one yet. Fingers crossed.

I just got an email but not to cancel:
" At this time, your order is still pending and will ship as soon
as the item(s) are in stock."
So I guess I'm still good?

I got a cancellation too.
But it took a while to get it.
I received my cancellation e-mail before I received the "At this time, your order is still pending and will ship as soon as the item(s) are in stock." Talk about backwards. Anyway, they seem fairly disorganized there, so I doubt I'll ever try ordering from the again. Their shipping is outrageous, so I can't imagine it being worth it unless there was a price mistake, which we now know they won't honor.

I never received the "your order has been cancelled" email, but this morning I got the "we've removed these items because they are not available" email
. Of course they're not available, they're pre-orders!
