Thanks, Matome.

Note that when the title appears on an etailer and there isn't a press release or official announcement, I'm requiring that the title appear on a separate site for confirmation (lots of sites have jumped the gun with incorrect information in the past year).

Luckily, it appears also on deepdiscountdvd.

So in it goes.

I'm trying to find the release date of Chicken Little Blu-Ray to consider getting in on a DVD deal combining Amex Wishlist, Amazon 10% off pricing, and PS3 Blu-Ray rebates. Anybody know the release date? Thanks!

It's the 25% off Coupon through Amazon you could get a few weeks ago through an American Express Promotion. The promo is ended now.

So The Departed has been announced for both a single disc and two disc DVD edition and it's even available for pre-order at Amazon...but no sign of an HD release. I can't imagine them not releasing this on HD, but nothing so far.

Its being worked on right now. I bet it will be out day/date or soon thereafter.

I was wondering what that Ewan McGregor movie was on the Sony demo disc. I guess Big Fish it is.

HD DVD upcomming titles list

Not sure how many people over here have seen this. Credit to OrangeCrush over on the High Def forums for posting this.

HD DVD titles list

Scroll down to the bottom for the upcomming titles. Few notable releases, but not a lot of must have HD DVD exclusives.

The URL is, but it's updated somewhat regularly.

If Futureshop's not screwing with us, maybe we'll see this before the month's out.

Wonder if it is going to be the Director's cut or not. I know I'll probably buy it regardless of which cut it is though.

I'm pretty sure the version of Brazil they've been showing in high-def on Universal HD was the 132-ish minute U.S. theatrical cut. If the HD DVD is legit, I'd expect it to be the same, especially if not noted otherwise on the cover art.

I seriously doubt that it the 94-minute "happy cut!"

I know international versions aren't really being discussed in this thread but a bunch of German sites had both Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy down for release last week. Not sure what came of it.

On January 30, Warner Bros. will release The Wicker Man and Beerfest on HD DVD and BD. Also, The Wicker Man HD DVD will contain DD+ and Dolby TrueHD tracks.

We'll probably know in a few days at CES. Can't wait to see what kind of lineup Universal is planning!

On the one hand, I agree with you about the UHD airing, but on the other hand Universal's last DVD of Brazil was mislabeled as the theatrical cut but actually contained the Director's Cut.
