Superman: Ultimate Edition in HD ever?

Does anybody know if WB has any plans to release the Ultimate Superman set on HD? While I appreciate and bought the original film, the Donner cut of II and Returns, I can't help but feel like I am still missing out. I have vowed to not buy any more SD-DVDs unless it is something that doesn't benefit by the newer formats and this has been nagging me since it's release. Please take my money, WB!

I just hope we get the other releases first: Superman 3&4, not to mention the other Smallville seasons.

I'm sure 3 and 4 will come out in HD although I doubt we'll see the supplemental features discs releases in HD.

I just want the original theatrical cut of Superman II. The Donner cut was nowhere near as good...

Why would any Warner title come out on HD?

Because they've already released 56 titles on HD?

I'm thinking this is like a Zen koan, isn't it?

Student: Why would any Warner title come out on HD?
Monk: They wouldn't.
Student: But hasn't Warner already released dozens of titles on HD?
Monk: Yes, and they will release many more.
Student: Have I achieved enlightnment yet, master?
Monk: Shut up and fetch me another bowl of rice, dumbass.

Thats for the HDDVD Promo Group list that was out a while back. Of course that was the list which suggested the Spielberg films were on the way! But I would faith we eill see the Collection so, or I hope, I sold 1,2 & Returns based on the collection coming out
