I got Pirates HD DVD from BushDVD and threw it in my 360 HD add-on but it wouldn't recognize the disc. I also put it in the 360 and it listed it as 'multi-format disc'. Then I tried it on my PC and it worked fine. Any clue why it wouldn't work on my HD player?

It's not an HD DVD. It's a WMV disc that needs to be played in a computer.

Well that sucks. It had the HDDVD logo on it, and it was listed in the HD section of their site.

It was made before HD DVD came out.

Aren't they releasing a regular HD-DVD one soon? One that plays in HD-DVD players.

The "true" HD DVD one will be out really soon. Digital Playground is taking extra time for their flagship title but yes, a lot of people were upset at the HDDVD logo that still resides on the cover of the title (it is HD, just not what later became known as HD DVD). Check out Island Fever 3 or Camp Cuddly Pines while you wait (reviews went up last week).
