Funny movie but with so little gross and so few people knowing about you might be in for a long wait.

I grew up a fan of these guys, and their antics. Shame the movie has never even received a Region 1 DVD release.

Evidently, this is something of a forgotten film, but I always had a soft spot for it.

Yep I did that, it kind of feels like an upconvert though. I did the disc to digital for it. Also tried that for "We Are Your Friends", but it wouldn't work.

I thought if you did D2D from a DVD source it would convert inSD quality? If so, then that's why the quality may not be up to snuff. Now if you just bought it through VUDU directly in HDX, would it still look bad and not be 1080p? I'd like to think not.

It's been how many years since the release of BR and these still don't have decent releases?

Bugsy - although tremendous artistic license was taken with this movie compared to the real story, the movie still won two Oscars. Should have gotten a nice BR release by now.

Dragnet - I still have my VHS copy signed by Alexandra Paul. So far just a lousy 1st gen DVD.

Pearl Harbor (Directors cut) - Apparently a very nice BR already for the theatrical, but the DC was a much better war film. Not a good movie, but the added realism made it better.

Timeline - a guilty pleasure that would look good in HD

Tin Cup - an enjoyable golf movie that never got a really nice release

True Lies - in a hundred years when Cameron is done with Avatar 46, he'll oversee a restoration and full blown decent HD release of True Lies. You know. The one he promised 6 months after the original DVD was released 20 years ago

I'm hoping for 4K blu-ray:

-Chronicles of Riddick
-Riddick

I still admire these movies.

I've been wanting to rewatch Cast Away. That would probably look gorgeous in 4k. Put me down for one.

Fright Night 2

I know it's a cheesy movie but some if not many, have a warm spot for it.

Paramount lately been on a roll with Saving Private Ryan and Braveheart on blu-ray 4k.

Please Paramount give me a Godfather and Godfather II 4k editions so I can happily shoot my load.

Now you know damn good and well they're going to release a set that includes all three of them and they won't be available separately for a long time.

^I could live with part 3. Just want an immaculate 4k transfer.

When will Legal Eagles be on Blu-Ray?

After Hours

Sing (1989) w/Lorainne Bracco

There must be rights issues with Quick Change, the hilarious Bill Murray comedy. It's disappointing no one across the globe has issued it on BD.

My uncle bought me the BR set several years ago and I haven't opened it yet. I always admired the films but they just aren't something I think of when looking for something to watch. I keep them because they are too important to get rid of. One day I'll have to watch them hopefully before the 4K comes out.

With the recent release of Dragnet, I'm down to just a few I'd like to see in HD.

Although not historically accurate Bugsy was a fun movie and should be in HD
Pearl Harbor, while not a great movie, the longer directors cut does make it more real hence needs to have it's own HD release.
Timeline is another guilty pleasure movie I wouldn't mind upgrading
True Lies never got the upgraded release promised 20 years ago. I think it's time.

I don't think True Lies has even gotten a blu-ray release. WTF?
