Looking ahead to the next few months, I'm surprised at how sparse the releases are. This list is not known for being entirely complete but between the slim numbers and the re-releases there just isn't much to get excited about.

I'm surprised that Sony hasn't released Ghostbusters 2 yet. Seems like it would be a logical choice to have out since the first one came out quite a while ago.
Also still waiting on Warner to hopefully release Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. It seems like one that should have a decent chance with the release of Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman a while back.

The Right Stuff is finally coming out on Blu-ray. It was announced several months ago, but it is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Release date is November 5.

Not his best film but I wouldn't mind seeing Carpenter's remake of Village of the Damned on Blu-ray. Seems like a potential good candidate for Shout Factory's Scream Factory line.

Has HBO released ANY of their goddamn movies on BD yet? All their DVD were bullshit snapcase releases with garbage fullscreen transfers. I want Bridge of Dragons, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, etc.
