Only saw the first one and it didn't impress me. I was confused as all hell...but once it ended, just thought it was over-rated. Not a huge sci-fi fan.
And Kubrick is ok...from what I've seen, but again, not my style.

Now the sequels, those were a mess. About halfway through the Architect scene, my head was spinning.

I will be buying the Kubrick films though. Hopefully the transfers will live up to the format.

I am looking forward to:
Matrix
300
Ocean's Eleven (2001)
The Shining
The Wizard of Oz
Hopefully, these all get released in the USA around the same time, so that people do not have to import them.

hahaha...you should be happy. You're going to get Se7en, The Game and Zodiac on HD DVD in one year.
Wonder what will happen with Panic Room and Fight Club on BD?

I'm going to assuming Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix will also becoming in November, alongside those other Harry Potter titles - since Phoenix is a summer 2007 release. Hopefully, there will be some kind of boxed set here in America.

With the recent 2-disc of The Green Mile on dvd, I certainly hope the HD DVD counterpart is released this year. How different are the release dates between the US and other regions? That will suck if we have to wait until November, again, for the Harry Potter movies.

Just a few things...
Someone doesn't like the movies you like, so be it. No reason to hate.
I'm glad to see more IME's scheduled for release even though they may/may not be for a N.American release. Wasn't it Warner Bros that said they would wait until BD-J was up and working before releasing anymore IME's in the States?
Lastly, quit this nasty talk 'bout men wearing silk panties.
Err, you guys didn't say silk did you...shit.

how true, for the sake of upgrading, all this exclusion, seems like a dramatic step backwards for home video in general.
