A quick note that Cameron Crow's nostalgic Almost Famous is set to be released in Finland on September 26th. Apparently Dreamworks Pictures are under Sony's distro umbrella in Finland.

Can we perhaps keep the foreign releases in the foreign releases thread? The information is useful but I think most of us come here strictly for U.S. release info.

Even with equal pricing I'll avoid the combo.

Was there supposed to be a box set too or just individual releases?

Terrible, perhaps, but it's in keeping with the last few HP releases, style-wise.

And The Man Room is saying that the box set is still coming...and it also says that the HD DVD will have IME.

In more Harry Potter news, High Def Digest has stated that WB has announced the Harry Potter Years 1-5: Limited Edition Giftset for both formats, also on Dec. 11th. No specs for it yet, but it's listed at $149.98.

HD Digest says the list prices for Harry Potter 5 are: $39.99 for HD DVD and $34.99 for BD. I'm guessing it will end up being a combo disc.

I dont like combos, but the hd-dvd still sounds better with all the exclusive features. Im in for the hd-dvds of all 5.
