This calendar contains all firm titles that are going to be released for the American market.

There are many other lists, but they are arranged alphabetically, or by format and/or studios. Here I intend to make a list by release date, so that anyone can use it to see what is available at any given moment. I'll update it as more information is disclosed.

To qualify, a title must have been announced by the studio (with price and availability date), or be available for preorder (not availability notification or obvious placeholder) at two different North American sites.

Would anyone else like to see the schedule changed to just using red and blue rather than the other colors? I guess the intention is to show what's getting released on both, but dual-format titles are going to be listed consecutively anyway, so if you see a title in both colors it's easy to see it's on both.

I agree that the 4 different colors is tough to read/follow.

I'd suggest regular black text for titles on both, and then the the obvious red (HD DVD) and blue (BD). Seems to cover all the bases.

Yes, I like black. It will be much easier to read. As for differences in audio between the formats, you can just highlight the differences in whatever color needed. The Departed would have TFH in red and the PCM in blue.

With the space of Blu-ray discs, Sony should have no problem putting both cuts of the movie on the same disc. Reviews indicated that The Patriot extended cut, just reinserted the deleted scenes into the movie.

Good thinking there, Sony. Who would want to see an excellent, award-winning new release like The Lives of Others when they could watch a miserable and mostly-forgotten 17-year-old bomb like Flatliners instead? :rolleyes:

Never heard of The Lives of Others. Looks like it made about 6.5 million in the USA if this is the correct movie: http://imdb.com/title/tt0405094/

I can't understand why Sony would not release this.-ohbfrank-

Flatliners is a great movie with lots of stars that was hardly a bomb for its time. I think this is a great movie to release. I will be picking up all three releases.
