HD DVD Viewing question…

I’m curious….Will we notice a difference between DVD and HD-DVD on smaller HD Ready TV sets? I have 26 inch Samsung HD television in my room, so I was wondering if it would be pointless to buy a HD player for my smaller TV.

No matter the size of the set, yoou will notice the change in resolution. Your set, even if it is smaller, is designed to display at a higher resolution than DVD can muster.

Unless you sit too far away to see the increased resolution.

Agreed, but I'll assume he's not sitting 25' away from a 26" screen.

Besides, distance will affect your viewing no matter the resolution, so I think that a higher rez image will still be clearer than it's lower rez equivalent at a distance.
