Damn, I just realized that I joined here two months before I got married, and we're celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary next week.

I was a teenager when I started lurking here, and now I’m 45. Yikes!

I’ve been here officially since 2001 I think but almost certain I posted here under a different name before that.

Gald the forum is still here and will be for the foreseeable future anyway.

Re: Will Internet Brands continue to support DVDTalk?

Wow, statistics say I joined late May, 2005. I do know that for the longest time I was more of a lurker and then I seemed to reach a point where I was comfortable posting in threads more often and here we are today where every other post in the Hallmark thread seems to be from me, lol!!

We joke a lot nowadays about how most of us are olds on this site, but I was about 34 years old when I found this site, youth had already passed me by when I joined.

Think if they had parked 4KTalk or UHDTalk years ago and just hot linked to DVD talk (maybe with a different logo what the forum could have been now?

I started lurking here after DVDTalk was on Attack of the Show years back. I was also a teen at the time. So many hours in the Guess The Movie by the Screenshot thread.

I don't remember that. Any idea how I could find it?

We did have something like that with hdtalk.com once upon a time, although it didn’t go anywhere beyond a redirect back here. And then I guess it expired and was repurposed as a Harley Davidson discussion site for a while. . Something like that.

Those of us that have been here since 1999 will be celebrating our 25th anniversaries this year. Seems hard to believe.
